Help me help our children have a healthy, head start in life!

Hi all,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that low-income children and their families lack access to healthy food alternatives which when coupled with reduced physical activity leads to obesity (17.5% of our 2-4 year-old children are obese), I knew I had to help.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support EXCEL CHRISTIAN ACADEMY and their campaign to complete the Hynson Park Outdoor Learning Environment—and you can be a part of it. Hynson Park, which is designed to combat early-childhood obesity, foster creativity and imagination, support motor skill development, and reduce stress and the effects of Attention Deficit Disorder in our children, still needs a Garden Bridge and Pergola, a Rain Garden, an Amphitheater, a Table Tree Bench, a Rolling Hill, a Raised Garden Bed, some Stepping Stumps, and a Picnic Table.
